Working in the salon industry since 1988, I have worked for many big companies in the beauty field of business. I was the Chicago Regional Makeup Educator with Aveda. From there I moved to Farouk in California as the Color Educator, and learned of the Enjoy product line. From California to Arizona where I owned a fourteen chair salon for over twelve years.

After being diagnosed with lupus, I learned that many of the triggers of this horrible disease were from toxins at my workplace, despite the fact that I personally practiced health safety measures. I couldn’t make myself or my clients live and breathe health and beauty wellness or expect the stylist I rented to to have my same vision. So I decided to open a smaller, private, one on one studio with organic materials, clean air, recycled floor paint and utilization, a complete pH balanced, sulfate- free line to keep my lungs, my current small staff, and my clients health compromised.
My team consists of myself, HairdocTK (master extension and hair repairer), my45 plus yrs young yoga instructor/nutritionist/organic colorist Sean, my aesthetician and long term trich client with a PHD in behavior therapy Natalia, and Miss Sheri, our 25 yr cosmo teacher who has also been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. My team assists me int he education of advanced training for those who want to excel in these fields.

Most salons are all about the NAME and what I call ‘smoke and mirrors’. It is not the location when it comes to good hair health. It is the mission statement and what’s inside that matters with the privacy and peace for those who want to be recreated, not scammed.
