There are many factors involved with the shedding of the lash bed, including and not limited to normal shedding, constant rubbing, dry eyes, heavy mascara not being washed off daily, lash curlers, perming, tinting, medical illness, and picking or pulling of the natural lashes. Eyelash extensions are an individual strand by strand method to reduce the constant usage of heavy coated mascaras, perms, and tints.

As with hair extensions, one class doesn’t make anyone an expert. I have researched the adhesives including wearing them myself. I have trained under 3 diverse companies. 3 out of 5 of those companies are not listed on the MSDS Safety Data sheet sheet, but still use harsh adhesives. I only apply the lowest grade amount of adhesive, which is better for the whole delicate eye area as well. I have trained my spokes-model Natalie (who also has her PhD), who started as my client. This was not a one day class. She knows the importance of eye care being a Trichotillomania patient with a history of picking lashes. She has been my extension/fitness/client/spokes-model for 6 years and after we launched her video, we knew it would be a good fit for her to help other trich sufferers who pull out their lashes.
