What are parabens? Pick up a bottle and read a few of the ingredients. What you read will shock you. Most every product will have this word listed in some shape or form. Yes, to maintain shelf life of a product that isn’t used within 7days must have a preservative in it to maintain the life expectancy. Upon being exposed to the air which releases gases and causes color discoloration, somewhat like a banana if left out after being peeled, products with a high content of parabens will NOT discolor and will not need refrigeration. Unless of course we use an olive oil blend on our skin. That will not turn into a gas and has omega 3′s which is beneficial for the hair, skin, and body.
