Be sure to ask about eco-friendly color with a very low ammonia content and enhanced with lavender and nettles to absorb the tiny molecules that convert the natural pigment changes so that you  achieve the color desired. Salons can become toxic havens for both parties involved with the chemicals and gases that are released to perform the necessary chemical reaction to change the natural state of the hair color or texture .
